The SFS FLEX-5P features 5,000 pounds of pulling force and is capable of installing rivet nuts from M3 to M10 and 6-32 to 3/8-24 and is based on an innovative modular design. The FLEX-5P comes as a pull to pressure tool but offers the flexibility of a pull to stroke installation with Sherex’s conversion kit, allowing for the proper method to be used based on the application requirements. The FLEX-5P tool has the ability to be upgraded from the original base tool to different levels of process monitoring that will provide feedback to the operator ensuring each rivet nut is set properly. The original base tool also will offer upgrades such as conversion to an in-line tool and conversion to a split tool with a remote booster.

The SFS FLEX-5P has an all aluminum body which gives it added strength and durability relative to plastic tools in the market. The tool features a single stage trigger and Socket Head Cap Screw Mandrel. The FLEX-5P tool is one of the lightest tools of its kind in the marketplace at only 4.2 pounds (1.9 kg) and comes in a convenient, easy to carry gray case.
