Sherex's Optisert® is an innovative round body rivet nut that has superior strength, performance, and spin-out over typical standard round body rivet nuts.

What’s unique about Optisert is the proprietary knurl and wedge design underneath the head. This gives the rivet nut superior strength to prevent spinning in the base material. The spin-out resistance of the Optisert is almost as great as using a hexagonal rivet nut.

Opistert InstallationIdeal applications for Optisert include products that have softer materials like aluminum, composite, fiberglass, and plastic. This new round body fastener is already being used in the automotive and heavy truck industries.
