Should we use cadmium plating like the industry standard or find new alternatives to help prepare our customers for the future requirements of manufacturing? The answer was clear. Working with some of the top U.S. plating and coating facilities, Sherex is proud to offer our CFW series with a completely cadmium free and chrome VI free finish. Our standard line exceeds the corrosion resistance of cadmium and we also offer several alternative finishes to provide up to 1,000 hours of red rust free performance in a salt spray test. Just one more example of how Sherex is looking to the future of fastening technology.
